ICO to PNG Converter Icon Converter allows you to upload a Windows icon (.ico) file and will read the file for image data. Icons can contain more than 1 image in more than 1 quality type so the icon can be applied anywhere in a program. This script will collect the images and will convert them into a PNG image for you to use for whatever reason. Note: supports 2-bits per pixel (monochrome), 4-bpp (16 colours), 8-bpp (256 colours), 24-bpp (16M colours), 32-bpp (16M colours with alpha) Note: the limit to icon sizes are 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, and 128x128 pixels These limits are not applied to 32-bit images, so you can have whatever size found (but under 640,000 total pixels, that's about 800 by 800 pixels) Note: does not yet support Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Mac OSX icons, does not yet support DLLs, icon libraries or anything other than simple .ico files.
