The mathematics behind it is quite simple, however this calculator does not handle floating-point numbers or negative numbers (I don't use the Gamma function either).. common calculators are unable to calculate the factorials of larger numbers (well, except without representing it in scientific notations). The factorial of 5 (or 5!) would be 120.. 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 = 120. It's the same with 6.. it would be 720.. 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 × 6 = 720. Update 07/01/10: I produced factorials 250K!, 750K!, 1M!, ..., 9.75M!, 10M! (steps of 250K!).. not sure how I'm going to handle downloads yet. Allowed range: 0! to 200,000!
